M-PSD TEAMS

“Having extra sets of eyes and ears that knew what they were looking and listening for was a major weight off my shoulders. I was able to focus 100% on patient care and making sure the clinic was operating smoothly. In the past, I have had to stop what I was doing to ensure that a ‘shady character’ kept on moving or evaluate potential bad guys that… raised red flags”.

HASF M-PSD TEAMS

All HASF Humanitarian Aid Teams are protected by our highly trained pool of Volunteer M-PSD (Mission - Protective Services Detail) Teams. M-PSD Team Members are part-time HASF team members who selflesslyvolunteer their time to protect our Mission Teams. M-PSD Team Members come from a variety of backgrounds from former Military to Engineers to just Regular People who want to help us make a difference in the world.

Under the supervision of our Senior Team Leaders M-PSD Team Members have deployed with HASF Humanitarian Aid Mission Teams to Honduras, and multiple times to Iraq Kurdistan. M-PSD Team Members have also provided Protection and Secure Logistics for Christian Missionaries working in Honduras and The Philippines. M-PSD Team Members also provide critical support to Mission Teams by manning our Stateside TOC during missions.

M-PSD Team Members must pass an intensive residential M-PSD Academy held at our headquarters in the mountains of Virginia before being certified ready for mission team deployment. In addition to the Academy M-PSD Team Members receive Pre-Deployment Training specific to the region they will be deploying to prior to being fielded. All M-PSD Team Members are subjected to a comprehensive background check and maintain minimum fitness standards.

HASF Humanitarian Aid Missions would not be possible without the brave men and women of our M-PSD Teams volunteering their time to protect our Mission Team Members. They do this at their own expense and great risk to their lives so others can receive much needed help.
